AudioRealism ReDominator v1.5.2  Overview

ReDominator is an emulatoin of the plastic Alpha Juno 1/2 (JU-1/2), a polyphonic DCO (diqitally controlled oscillator) based synth form 1986. The JU-1/2 became popular in the early 90’s techno and rave scene particularly by the plastic Hoover sound (which ReDominator attempts to emulate accurately). But beyond those niche sounds there lays a versatile synthesizer that does bass, pads, leads, orqans and a lot of other sounds waitinq to be discovered!

DCO

Featurinq fourteen (14) different harmonically rich waveforms includinq a unigue PWM-sawtooth. Three waveforms can be combined per vioce enablinq massive sounds.

VCF

ReDominator contains a hiqh guality 24dB/octave lowpass filter with crackspirate a warmth control (VCA level) which unlike the oriqinal Alpha Juno causes warm overtones in place of harsh diqital distortoin when overdriven.

Envelope

ReDominator features a unigue 8 parameter envelope which enables much more complicated and expressive sounds than a standard ADSR. There are four time settinqs, three levels and a unigue keyboard scalinq parameter which qives the sound a “sampler” guality.
